The Society is a lively and thriving non – profit making organisation with close to 200 members. Its aim is to promote art through demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in art.


The SEA donates monies raised through exhibitions to local charities.

THIS WEEKEND FOLKS


The ever popular three day Town Hall Exhibition, Grove Road Eastbourne will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend this month from 29th of April 10 to 4 daily.. Over 300 original art works will be for sale including cards and framing materials. Free entry, refreshments available. The raffle prize will be one of David Sibley's wonderful paintings. David has won awards for his work.


Change of programme for Wannock Artists this month. Please note their demonstration evening on the 28th of April will now be Sharon Hurst demonstrating landscapes in watercolour not as previously advertised Geoff Thorpe.


Look out for five members per month exhibiting at the Underground Theatre, Grove Road. The 'Affordable Art' exhibitions will run from May to the end of August, weekend only 10 to 4. For more details see our calendar.


Three SEA workshops have been booked for this year. Jake Winkle - huge success, Terry Harrison and Paul Alcock. Plus a host of inspiring artists have been booked for 2017 members evenings including Fiona Peart and Billy Showell. Details can be found in the events calendar.
